Sorority Housing

I was planning on rushing as a sophomore but I read that all girls have to live in the house at one point? Is it actually mandatory? Bc I wouldn’t wanna be living on campus in the house as a junior.

Only mandatory if they can’t fill the house and need people to but usually everyone wants to live in the house as a sophomore

depends on the chapter! A lot of them don’t require it :)

I know with some chapters you are only eligible to live in the house if you rushed as a freshman and you'll be a sophomore your second year in the chapter. So I wouldn't worry about it.

they won’t make you live in the house as a junior but there are definitely a few chapters that force their sophomores to live in. I know a few girls that signed leases with their hallmates and then their chapters made them break their leasing agreements
