So based on these ratings, they're all either douche guidos, sketchy, or unknown. It's impossible to tell who's good when everyone either self-ranks or hates.

you should look into the biggest and thus most networked. fraternity mindsets changed every few years, but connections to the real world don't. lambda chi and sig ep are among the largest in the nation.

I wouldn't put KA, PIKE, ATO or Sigma Chi on top. I mean if you are into greasy haired, WOP, guidos I guess they are good. The only real fraternities at JMU are Kappa Sig and Delta Chi. All the northern fraternities might as well be lifting clubs.
