pi beta chi/ delta chi

Delta Chi (ΔΧ) is a fraternity that got their charter revocked from their national headquarters and lost recognition from the office of fraternity and sorority life as well as the entire JMU community. Since the revocation of their charter, they have recruited underground under the name of Pi Beta Chi in order to allow their chapter to continue to grow. They are not a fraternity recognized by campus, along with Sigma Chi and Alpha Tau Omega (ATO). Join these groups at your own risk/loss (in my opinion)

Delta Chi was really a good group for their first 10-12 years and didn't start to decline until the las 2-3years. From what I hear, JMU, the groups advisor, and the ΔΧ headquarters people tried hard to address the issues but there was a core group that just didn't want to listen, and when their charter got pulled they formed PBX.
