rushing as a sophomore

Is it hard to get a bid rushing a sorority as a sophomore?

What about as a junior? I know a lot of girls who rushed as a sophomore but I only know one who rushed when she was a junior

Rushing as a freshman and sophomore is fine. Some are required to take in a certain amount of freshmen which increases their chances, but pledge classes are usually half freshmen and half sophomores or 3/4 freshmen and 1/4 sophomores. Juniors have a slim chance and seniors don't really stand much of a chance. Probably a max of 60 juniors taken in across the sororities- more likely to be about 30 or so. Don't let this stop you from rushing though!

Sophomores are likely to receive a bid, but it might not be from your top if that sorority has a lot of interested freshmen.
