Kappa Alpha Order - ΚΑ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 2.8 Came to JMU last semester as a freshman from the backwoods of Virginia but went to boarding school in Tennessee so never knew anyone who went to JMU Brother is in the Order at a big southern school, was expecting the same type of guys at JMU, a southern school. Classy, southern bred gents. Huge shock when I really started rushing and met guys that are the complete opposite of what this fraternity is meant to stand for. Went another direction, very happy with my current brothers. Not your dads KA

Kappa Alpha Order - ΚΑ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 3.6 While they are definitely an active part of JMU greek life, they are not a true chapter of the Order in the sense that they do not hold the traditions. This is supposed to be the fraternity of the South, the home of the Good Ole Boys. They're spiritual founder is Robert E Lee, the tradition is that when Dixie plays they must face the South, the Old South events are tradition at other schools. If you want a good fraternity KA is a good choice. If you want a southern fraternity go SX, DX, KS or SN
