(Maybe) Bottom tier. Had huge potential to climb the ranks but then there was a breakup within the fraternity. Apparently like 30-40 guys left leaving the rest to clean up the mess they left by leaving the fraternity. The parties were decent and maybe they can come back but it will take a lot of work and good rush weeks.

What I heard from this chapter is just shameful. Apparently 45-50 brothers who were in the fraternity left because they didnt want to take responsibility for their actions, instead of enduring the punishment together. Pretty pathetic. However, they are still active with 10-15 guys, and are still considered a chapter at JMU. It will take a LONG time before these guys are well recognized.

Who would have thought that a fraternity would have this much drama. Sheesh. I hope they are an exception and that fraternity drama is very rare.

As an active brother of DU, this is not true. We are not losing our charter. We have had a major number of brothers leave but by no means we are gone.

DU went through some rough times last fall from what I've heard and lost a lot of their members due to tough sanctions. With that being said, the ones who remain have really done a good job keeping the Fraternity alive on campus while they go through this rebuild. It will be a long road for DU but I have a feeling they can rebound. They helped start the biggest greek founded fundraiser ever to hit this campus (MadiTHON) last year so anything is possible.
