what is greek life like here
by: admittedSo, I've been admitted for the fall. Still checking out options. What is Greek life really like at CWRU? Do you recruit fall or spring? Overall, what was your freshman year experience like? Thanks in advance.

Greek life has been one of the most transformative things during my time here at case. I've been offered so many opportunities, such as research positions, help with starting a new club, and much more. Our chapter culture is really incredible. We're all so supportive of one another, and I can truly say I trust every single guy. Your experience will really depend on who you rush and end up joining, and how much time you put into it. If you make the right decision and put some work and love into the best fraternity/sorority for you, a great chapter will have so much to offer in return. Recruitment's in the fall and spring for guys, and just in the spring for girls.

(coming from a girl in a sorority) Greek Life at CWRU is unique in many ways, especially since Case is a smaller school. Not going to lie, there are still stereotypes about which sororities & fraternities are "better" than others, but they all have great things to offer, and they all work together and are friendly with one another. Many people who have joined a sorority/frat still have best friends in other ones. There are "no hazing" policies put in place and enforced strictly, and the recruitment process makes sure you can find a place where you belong (I obviously haven't experienced frat's version of it, but all of my guy friends in frats are very happy with where they landed) I could write paragraphs about how much I love it and all I've gotten out of it, but I have homework I should be doing, so I hope you take my word for it!
