decline of greek life

Greek life at UCSB has officially begun its descent on a downward spiral and it's heartbreaking to watch. The whole community is unrecognizable even from just 3 years ago. We're not as social with each other anymore, connecting is more difficult, and we're constantly on guard when we're trying to have fun. Houses that have their DP properties and their friends will still party but making new connections in the traditional sense with TG's and other things is gone. Nobody even really cares about rankings anymore because houses get kicked off every year and we're not interacting with enough houses to even compare them to each other (which I guess is a good thing) but it's just not the same.

Honestly, the brotherhoods are so weak here, the institution is not worth maintaining
