recruitment as a junior

by: Transfer Girl

Hi!! So I'm planning on transferring as a junior next fall. I have always planned on rushing, and i'm really excited to! What is recruitment/rush like for transfers? I know we would be coming in as the older girls, so i'm assuming fewer girls would be offered bids.
Do certain sororities let in more transfers, and others don't? How different is the process for transfers vs. freshman?
Thank you all so much for your help! :)

no, certain sororities dont let in more transfers than others. the process is very very similar to the freshman process. you have an advantage over sophomores/juniors who've already been there for two years in the rush process.

I wouldn't necessarily agree with this: certain houses definitely take more transfers than others, it depends on numbers. If a house already has a huge amount of juniors, they're less likely to take as many. That doesn't mean you won't end up where you want and this also doesn't mean that certain houses don't take juniors at all, because everyone does.
