They are suspended for a year and can't rush in Fall 2016. Then on probation for the 16-17 year.

this is correct, they're not technically kicked out but losing a fall rush will be really damaging for them, especially since they're considered by a lot to be top tier, if not top house.

^ No way. That's a year without recruitment and another year of no social events on probation. You have to be insane to think any house would be able keep up as a "top" house after that.

Probably do unofficial/unregistered socials, it really won't be a big deal.

^ If they did that and got caught, that'd automatically get them kicked off. Literally the dumbest idea if they want to survive their suspension and probation.

Actually it wouldn't get them kicked off, I've spoken with other chapters who were on probation before. You can hang out with whoever you want unofficially

Actually, you're wrong. You can obviously hang out with whoever you want, but once you begin to have unofficial social events strictly between a house on probation/suspension and one that isn't, people are going to get into trouble. It is against university rules to have a social event with someone that is on probation or suspension, official or not.

Do you not understand the meaning of unofficial? While what you're saying is correct you still can't get in trouble for anything unofficial.

NO they're not getting kicked off completely, they are on suspension for 15-16 year and probation only until spring quarter of 2016, but you can't really tell cause they're still the best hehe

They can't be that good if they got themselves placed on suspension.

LOL seriously? 95% of what sorority girls do is against their nationals, it's really quite easy to get suspended, most chapters have at some point.

SAE got kicked off still top house and came back and transformed into ZETE. APhi will continue to thrive.

Actually it will be bad for them. It won't destroy them but it won't help. If aphi was the only top house maybe it wouldn't hurt, but they still compete with piphi and dg. A lot of girls that would've been in aphi will end up in one of those houses, hurting them in the long run. They can get girls after recruitment but a lot of the ones they would've wanted would already be in a different house. And many freshman would rather join a house that isn't on probation cause they know it would suck to join a house and then get kicked off.
