senior house

by: ?

I have seen that term used here... do members only really live in the chapter houses their senior year?

Are their equal number of sorority members to frat members? Seems like maybe here, frats are more popular.. ? thanks

members live in the chapter houses their sophomore year typically. A senior/satellite house is where juniors & seniors live but it's technically not affiliated, and sometimes they throw parties/daygers there. Frats especially.
I think every sorority house will have 150-190 girls after this rush. Frats do rush more often and their pledge classes are anywhere from 10 guys to 50, depending on the quarter/house, so their # of members ranges. I think frats & sororites are equally popular. However You don't need to rush to have a social life like at some schools. There isn't a big divide between Greek vs. Non Greek either, people in Greek life just pay more to party, I've noticed a lot more rich/spoiled people in Greek life.
