do sororities look at grades for bids?

I'm trying to rush a sorority in the fall as a junior but my grades are about a 2.9 do they look at your grades to factor in if they want you before they give u a bid? I know its really hard getting in as a junior. Should I even bother rushing.

If you're attractive and cool, it doesn't really matter. Just meet the minimum.

I think you should rush anyway. You'll never know until you actually go through rush and see whether or not you vibe with whatever houses.

i am rushing as a junior with a low gpa as well. i am very excited for rush and a new experience in college

they do look at your grades, but for some your gpa isn't important to get a bid and for others you have to meet the minimum gpa or you're dropped automatically

yeah for some sororities you are immediately dropped if you are below the minimum.
