fraternity gpa

Before I rush do I need a specific GPA?? I want to rush but I only have a 2.24 at the moment because one quarter I bombed due to a tragic family incident.

That's going to be a major turnoff and red flag to most houses regardless of what may have happened, especially with the more well established houses.

It's not what's needed but no house wants someone that's going to bring down their overall GPA. And when they count GPA it's just for that quarter, just do better next quarter.

Whoever responded above is a goddamn GDI. I have never in my life heard of any chapter bringing up or caring about anyone's GPA. The only situation I could see that happening is if you had a 1.0. No minimum gpa, don't worry about it. Frat rush is simple- if they liked hanging out with you, you'll get a bid.
