do we have classes during rush?

this may be a dumb question but do classes start the week of rush or the week after? like does ucsb have a welcome week or are we expected to go to class at the same time as recruitment?

the first day of classes is the 22nd, and we don’t have rush activities that day. we do on the 23rd as well as whatever classes you may have
