Lowest top tier retention rate, pretty bad retention rate overall. That means girls drop out. This should speak for itself. Don't trust me? Greek week does rankings/ pairings each year based on houses retention rates. These pairings have nothing to do with who hangs out with each other or anything else other than how they rank in retention and pairing every Panhellenic sorority with an IFC frat and a multicultural/ interest sorority and frat. Anyone can see their teams by typing in "UCSB Greek Week 2014" on Facebook, the event is open to the public.

This is the only event done this way in an attempt to be unbaised since it is pretty much the only social-type event put on NOT by an individual sorority/ frat for the greek system.

As you can see better known IFC frats rank relatively low because they drop their own members and haze, discouraging people from staying in. Therefore, retention is not as good of an indicator to the quality of a house/ brotherhood as it is for sororities (No Panhellenic sororities at UCSB do any real type of hazing).

im in another house and dg's are really sweet i don't know if its just their pledge class but i think they're gorgeous and super chill :)

Some are ok. Most are rude. Some really good looking girls that go out a lot. An equal amount of bad looking girls that never go out but no one knows about them until they all come out for Capture the Anchor or some other big event. Probably the catty-est. The word "best" is relative but I wouldn't consider DG as a whole above any of the other top tier sororities at all.
