You get rejected because you’re not white

Remember all freshman, if you’re POC and you get rejected from “top tier” frats, the only reason is because you’re not white. Don’t listen to the cap about personality, connections, coolness or sociableness. This is likely based solely on how white/european-looking you are

Lowkey true - dude in a frat. And it’s mostly about “fitting in” it’ll be hard if you’re diverse n what not.. I know it sucks it sucked for me too when I was rushing I wish it wasn’t like that

Just adding off what I wrote.. looking back at it lots of white kids don’t get bids either tbh… it really depends on how well you click with the guys during rush..

Definitely implicit racism in the greek system at UCSB. Deny all you want, but it's true.
Tons of great frats/srats here, but only the mostly white ones are considered top by many people.
