how casual is it?

hi i know greek life here is pretty casual but i’m just wondering what that entails. do yall still do traditional things like sweethearts or no? sorry i’m from the south so everything is pretty hardcore here and casual is never actually casual

greek life isn't even that big at ucsb and yes, it's very chill

People join Greek life and socialize with other Greek orgs (tg’s, philanthropies, etc,) but they don’t do things like sweethearts or “brother/sister” chapters here

very chill-not at all like in the south

The greek life here isn’t traditional at all but a lot of ppl still rush. tbh ppl either don’t join a house or just mooch off people who did for parties
