Dropping? And rerushing?
by: LolHi guys, I just recently joined a sorority but I don’t really like it. All my friends joined a different one and I want to drop the one I am in and rerush next fall to be with them. Does the fact that I am dropping a different sorority hurt my chances of getting a new sorority next fall, like will I be blacklisted from all the sororities because of it?? Also does the fact that my friends are in it already help my chances of getting or do they have no say on who gets in?? Thanks!

you won’t be necessarily be blacklisted from every house, but don’t assume your friends can get you in their house either. there are zero guarantees so don’t count on getting a bid from them.
i wouldn’t suggest dropping unless you don’t want to be in a sorority or if you honestly aren’t
clicking with any of the girls in your house. you can still remain close to your friends and develop close friends in your sorority too.

agree-dont drop just cuz you're bummed about not being w your friends. sounds like you're feeling left out by your crew but dropping isnt going to change that and even if you did drop and get into their house next year, you would be in a different mc than them anyway and ppl tend to get closer with those in their mc.
