Hey 2021 PNMS
How was your first day of rush?? Did y’all end up staying even thought 4 houses were cut? How do y’all feel??
Let’s redirect this thread to PNMs since we know they are looking here and this time is about them finding their house.

I went in without any idea of what I wanted. So for me, I was open and having fewer houses is what it is. I’ll just have fewer to choose from—easier for me actually!
I’m still open minded and I will definitely pledge if I get a bid.
Lots of girls are unsure but are gonna stick with it, at least for another round or so.

Don’t be caught up in checking all the boxes about what you did in hs or what you want in a sorority :) it’s totally okay if you talk about random things! They are just trying to figure out your personality and if you would be happy in their house :)

be open to all the houses
don’t listen to other’s opinions-it’s your life not someone else’s
ask your rho gam questions about anything
DON’T sign the MRABA agreement unless ur certain u want either of the final houses. once u sign that MRABA u can’t do informal later in the year if u get matched with a preference night house.

THANK YOU all so much!! This site is usually so mean that it’s wonderful to see truly kind helpful advice.
Honestly there’s hardly anybody to talk to that doesn’t try to make nasty comments. Every girl on our floor has heard a different form of the “truth”.
Our poor rho gams are doing everything they can to keep girls from dropping out without giving what we do have a chance. They have a hard job.
