Rerushing this fall

by:

Is it worth it to do formal rush again if I rushed last year and had to drop (actual reason not just because i didn't get the house i want) ? Like will girls remember me and if I didn't get invited back by some houses last year should I expect the same thing this year? How diff is in person rush? Or should I just try to do COB even though not every house is guaranteed to do it?

I mean some girls will remember you - I definitely remember the names of people who dropped my house but rerushed but it shouldn't impact your overall experience too much. I say go for it and do formal!

depends on your year tbh, like if you’re a senior it’s probably not worth it for you or the house to give you a bid

first, rush might be virtual/partially virtual; it depends on guidelines from panhellenic as it gets closer to actual recruitment. hopefully it’s in-person though, because it’s way more fun for everyone. as far as getting asked back to houses, there is no way to guess the outcome. i think you should go thru recruitment again in September and take it from there.

i rerushed formally (for a good reason too) and got back the exact same houses as the first time. very happy in my house but i expected a different outcome with how much i changed as a person. goes to show that you are usually meant to be where you end up, so i say go for it (unless you are a senior).
