I heard for transfers it's harder to get into sororities? Is this true or do transfers still have a good chance?

It's not that much harder - it's a bit more competitive because freshmen can offer chapters more years of dues and leadership, but many transfers rush at ucsb and can end up in any house.

Houses want transfers just as much as anyone else! It doesn’t Really matter what year you are

during recruitment there are different quotas for first years vs older girls. so each house has to take a certain amount of sophomores & up. so with transfers it depends if the house prioritizes the sophomore girls but there are plenty of transfers in every house
