best way to get a bid?
by: just askinhey so im thinking ab either doing cob or formal recruitment next year and i know there's no way to guarantee anything on either end but what are the best things a pnm can do to make sure she leaves a good impression and maximize getting invited back/getting a bid to a house she likes? what makes certain pnm's memorable? i just hear a lot of things about girls not getting invited back even if they think they really vibed with a house and was wondering what i should do

they say this and it sounds cheesy but genuinely be yourself, often the most memorable convos are the ones where you find something silly and random in common. don’t worry about getting the convo back to showing off about yourself, let the natural conversation take its course. often it seems more forced when you’re thinking about what to say. also, just because you get dropped DOES not mean a sorority doesn’t like you, it’s a big numbers game and the girls you talk do NOT have final say, or sometimes they see a better fit for you that you don’t even see yourself yet
