transfer gphiiiii

by:

Hi! I am a Gamma Phi at the University of Kansas, and I've been looking at transferring to California schools because my parents just moved here! I'm wondering what Gphi is like at UCSB as well as the opinion on GEDs? Will it be hard to make friends as a transfer in greek life? Do you live in the house? etc.. thanks!

transfers are pretty common at ucsb, and a fair amount go through recruitment so making friends shouldn't be difficult! greek life as a whole is pretty laid back and if you do transfer, you should def reach out!

Greek life is so lowkey at ucsb and not big at all. Especially with rona it’s faded out even more because who wants to pay dues when we can’t do anything and no ones even living here. I would save your $$

gphi is considered a "bottom house" mostly cause the frats don't hang out with them that much but the girls are super nice and friendly, i have loved every gphi i've met. they're mature and have the right values for sure, by far the least shallow and most genuine house

I’m a gphi here and I love it! It may be different from your school since we aren’t considered “top tier” but anyone who cares ab that is not your time lol. Our house is super inclusive and I have nothing but love for these girls, they’re my ride or dies. IIKE baby! 🌙
