i have no idea who that is but maybe don’t drop new members names like it’s their fault that the chapters are dirty rushing. makes her look bad when she had nothing to do with it. i’m not even in alpha phi but channel ur anger into more productive things...

unpopular opinion ik but honestly is it that bad to bring in girls you already know you get along with? especially sisters, who probably have similar personalities anyway, like imagine if your older sister's house dropped you, like shouldn't she have the option to join your house if you can vouch that she would be a good fit...??? my issue is if her mom was in it and that gets her a spot cause it may have been another school or just very different back in her day... am i the only one who thinks this?

I think the problem is if houses are pre-selecting the younger sisters of current members PLUS all their roommates, it's unfair to other PNMs who might be just as good a fit, but don't have those connections. It also contributes to cliques forming in chapters.
Also a big problem at legacy-heavy schools is girls suicide bidding because they prefer other houses over their legacy house, but their legacy house keeps inviting them back solely because they're a legacy, not necessarily because they're a good fit.
I think the benefits of a legacy-blind system is allowing PNMs to get a fair shot at all the chapters and keep their minds open about the process.

I totally agree. I get all these people are butthurt that they didn’t get into Aphi and pi phi but it’s pretty obvious why a sibling would be let in (!!!!??) ..... if a person didn’t get into those houses it was probably for a reason, and if they claim that they don’t care and don’t want to be in them anyways then why do these people write about how unfair it is online? Lol

yep, not a good look by Aphi/ Piphi. as a result, there will soon be drama and problems and yes, ultimately drops from these houses.
