GPhi is a great house! Your post honestly makes me sad. I think if you would’ve went through recruitment and not looked at Greek rank you’d be more satisfied with your decision. This shows that other people’s opinions are influencing you and making you think you didn’t make a right decision. Only you at the end of the day know that you made the right decision for yourself, not anyone else. There is a reason why you chose gphi and gphi chose you! Try to be excited, those girls that you had great conversations with are now going to be your sisters and bestfriends. A lot of people love gphi and chose that house for the same reasons as you. Try to not let people around you think otherwise. You seem like a down to earth person and you are going to love this experience if you allow yourself to.

This site is toxic and is filled anonymous bullying and self-ranking. The reality of Greek life here is much better than this site.

I hated my sorority or the first year and didn’t talk to anyone then lived in soph year and ended up having the absolute best time, then took on a leadership role - it the best decision I’ve ever made. You’ll love it

Houses at ucsb LITERALLY. DONT. HAVE. RANKINGS. The only place where rankings exist are on this superficial site which really doesn’t reflect reality whatsoever. If ur happy there, I’m happy for u 💘 I’m glad u chose something genuine, you’ll be glad you did
