usually the first couple weeks of winter quarter, but you have to get invited by an active

are other freshmen (pledge class 20) considered actives? Like could you be invited by one of your freshmen friends in Greek life?

is it weird to do cob for a house that dropped you during formal recruitment. i feel like they’ve made it clear they don’t want me and i don’t want to be annoying

its not weird. recruitment is a numbers game so they couldve liked you but they didnt think theyd have room

I definitely think it’s weird when people do that bc why would you want to join a house that didn’t want you? Like have some self respect

I want to do cob because fall recruitment didn’t work out in my favor, but will it be easier or more competitive?

Since you have to be invited by someone in the chapter so wouldn’t that make a chapter selecting you technically easier?

If they need more members after recruitment they could COB as early as next week. but no one has any clue what chapters will be doing COB (not even the chapters themselves) either this quarter or winter quarter

you honestly have nothing to lose by reaching out to the chapters you're interested in after recruitment and telling them that you'd love to know if/when they're doing COB

the other thing is no one knows how competitive it will be because they might need 1 more member or they might need 20

If there's 740 girls i feel like the chances of houses needing to do COB is lower :/
