aphi: from an ex members prospective
by: !i recently dropped aphi because it was not welcoming and they only seem to care about pretty girls that they can post on their insta and the rest of us don’t seem to matter. they dirty rush “the prettiest” freshman by following and contacting them. many of the girls had no personality and weren’t fun to go out with. i would definitely think twice before joining a sorority full of fake girls who judge you strictly on looks and have zero personality. (and most frats didn’t seem to be big fans when i was apart of it)

This is definitely the truth and happens among the “top” houses. In many peoples eyes being “top” meanings having the prettiest girls, most superficial IG feed and just appearing as “picture perfect”. As leading women, we need to steer AWAY from that and hopefully people speak up in their organizations to stop this unhealthy cycle. Recruitment for “top” sororities is all tactics to get the “best” aka the prettiest girls by dirty rushing, hiding their “non attractive” girls during recruitment and setting up a front to seem like a picture perfect sisterhood when honestly everything you see during recruitment is staged/an act.
Most of you will realize this the second recruitment is over which is why a lot of people drop shortly after.
