does it matter if sororities dont follow u back on ig

Hoping the sororities at ucsb aren’t that superficial and they’ll actually use rush to get to know girls opposed to picking girls beforehand. Someone lmk

doesn’t matter at all! the conversations you have during recruitment matter the most so just focus on being yourself

a house following you back or not is not an indicator of anything either way. don't read into it.
honestly, there are a few srats that are known to be superficial and judge based having a particular "look."
most of the srats aren't this way though and try to get to know each person
keep in mind greek life here is chill. everyone has friends at other houses. this site makes it seem way more hardcore than it really is

it depends on the rules that the houses have for interactions with PNM's. Also, some houses will only opt to follow someone once they're an official member of the sorority.

some houses don’t follow PNMs so they don’t show bias towards anyone specific!!!! don’t worry if they don’t follow u back:)

I would not follow the sororities on IG but they can then decide superficially if they want you or not. Let them get to know you during recruitment, don’t let them already make a decision or judgement about you.
