spring rush

Do any of the sorority houses already know for sure that they are participating in spring recruitment? Or maybe what houses usually participate?

Last year it was Kappa, ADPi, and Tri Delta. I don't think GPhi did it. There's really no way to know which houses will do it for sure until a couple weeks before actual spring recruitment. A couple houses (out of these ones) give out bids throughout the year to girls they are recommended and meet with a them few times and think will be a good fit. Don't count on Spring Rush though, none of it is ever for sure.
