rushing as a transfer

by: New Gaucho

So I am transferring in from a school that didn't have a greek life. I really want to rush, my mom was in a sorority and absolutely loved it. I plan on being at UCSB for at least another 3 years. How hard is it to get a bid as a junior?

I rushed as a junior as it was the best decision I made! Some houses don't accept juniors (but they're missing out so eff them). I LOVE my house even though it wasn't the house I originally thought I would join. Def go through recruitment and you will find the perfect house I promise! Greek life isn't something you should ever miss out on!

The number of juniors (if any) a house takes really depends on the house. And since your mom was in a sorority, are you a legacy to any of the houses here?

Yeah my mom was DG so I'm a legacy there. I mean of course I would love to follow in my moms footsteps, I'm more concerned about finding the right house! I want a sisterhood so badly <3 haha

It sounds like your heart is in the right place! Just be yourself and you'll find a good home <3
