is it weird to rush again after dropping out last yr?

by: nsssbccvv

Is it considered weird to rush after going through rush last year but dropping out last minute? I rushed but dropped out after I only got asked back to houses that I didn’t feel like I clicked with. I want to give it another chance but I’m worried about what people might think and how to explain my situation without being rude and saying I didn’t like certain houses. Also I would be a junior when rushing again and am wondering if that would hurt my chances of getting into a house

tbh, it'll hurt you. gives off the impression that you might not be as committed to sticking around. doesnt hurt to try though.

honestly try it again. no girls will even remember you and if they do just say that you had a personal matter happen and that you couldn't continue rush at that time. it will not hurt you and you will get into the house you're supposed to be in. they have to take a certain amount of upper classmen so you are fine.

They will actually most likely remember that you rushed, but yes, it won't hurt you!

I don't know why people are making this into a big deal. Lots of people do this. Just go through and know you will be cut right off by the ones you dropped. Then go from there! Good luck. You could just say you weren't sure about the time commitment or if sorority life in general was right for you, but you definitely want the experience now.
