sorority schedule
by: yerba mateI am aware of what the schedule looks like for sorority rushing, but I am still confused about the process. Can someone explain how the sororities/I will narrow down the choices? i.e. How many houses would I go to on Philanthropy Night? Would I choose which houses I pref for or would they choose me? etc.

unity day: all 9 houses
house tours: 7 houses
philanthropy night: 5 houses
pref night: 2 houses
along the way, you rank the houses you have left at the end of each round. it's a mutual selection process so you might end up having to go back to a house you tried to drop. on pref night, you rank the houses you have left #1 and #2. you are guaranteed a bid to one of these houses. if you suicide rush (just put one house down), you risk not getting a bid at all.

if you cant go to the first day you would have to go to all 9 houses on the second day, which would be tough but doable! later on in the week you definitely should not miss anything
yes, the maximum to get invited back to is 7, then 5, then 2 but you might get invited back to less

At the first meeting before rush they will let you now the full schedule. All I can suggest is that you keep everyday open during the full rush process. You will be so busy from early morning until night going from house to house. If you miss any of the scheduled house visits you will be dropped from the rush process. Do not plan to work during it and do not plan on only going to the houses you are interested in, that's not how it works. You may not be invited back to the maximum number of houses that are possible to be invited back to, everyones schedule varies. If you end up with two houses left on pref you are guaranteed a bid unless you suicide bid one house. You can be dropped from all houses at any point during the rush process (except pref if you have two houses left). They will give you all the info you need about houses and outfits at the first meeting the night before rush starts, trust the process.

Another question! Is it mandatory to be at every thing going on that week? Like if I have work should I get it off or is it ok to miss the first day
