lying on recriutment app

for GPA etc how do sororitys know if youre telling the truth since its self reported? Im only talking about initial recruitment not once youre actually a member

for sophomores and above it is matched through the school. for freshmen there is no way to double check but if you got into UCSB your GPA basically has to be above the sorority's national cutoff
