spring recruitment

Does anyone know why tri delt was the only house that had formal spring recruitment? I went to osl and they said some other houses had COB events but tri delt was the only one having formal rush this quarter.. can someone explain why?

Gphi had one too but it's probably cause they needed more members? they always seem to do it every year
