rushing sorority as sophomore

I've heard it's a bad idea to rush at some schools as a sophomore, is this true here? Am I pretty much limited to "bottom tier" houses if I rush as a second year? Not that there's anything wrong with them, just wondering if my options will be severely limited if I rush.
