favorite sorority and why
by: 2020Hi I'm an incoming freshman at Hopkins and I'm definitely rushing. Just based off of what people have said I think I'm leaning towards the kappa/ theta type of sorority (cool, not high maintainance but not too unpopular at the same time) but there's still a long time to go and I think I'm open minded. What's everyone's favorite sorority and why? Also, can I rush in the fall or is it only the spring?

Let me just start by saying that this is a complicated process and I'm sure once you get on campus and start meeting other students you'll find your place. I joined my sorority because unlike all of the other afilities I met, they were genuinely excited to welcome all of the new freshman to campus as soon as they saw them. They liked to have fun (within reason of course haha) and knew what it means to love to be a blue jay! Most of all they accepted me for who I am inside and out, and reminded me every day that I truly am beautiful. It's for these reasons that I chose to join Beta :)
