predictions for this year's recruitment?
by: pI think the sororitys will have more or less the same type of pattern as last year, where aphi takes the best girls and the rest sort of trickle down. Not sure about frats though, esp because of all that happened last year.

In leu of what have happened last year, people should stop putting so much emphasis on ranking. So what if one girl gets into Aphi and another one gets into Theta ? The odds are that a theta girl will find better friends because she won't waste her time on immature playboys from some top frats. Those, who think that being in a top frat or sorority determines one's worth, are not worthy of turning a rush experience into a drama.

phi mu didnt get a good pledge group and there were many upperclassmen that didnt want to take a little because of that but they're still considered a "top" sorority even though i think ranking sororitys at hopkins is ridiculous. There isn't a big difference between the sororitys in terms of ranking although a lot of insecure girls and guys will try to tell you there is. if youre not happy with were you end up, give them a chance before you decide to drop

Why are you still including SAE and PIKE in the ranking. They are gone. They will have to recolonize some day but it means that they will have to start from the bottom. Most schools put their top three frats or sororities on the same level. There is no way that one frat or sorority will be perceived as the best by everyone! Our site is very negative. I remember that every year after recruitment is over sororities and some frats start throwing mud at each other instead of focusing on their new pledges and making it special for them. Let's be nicer

I hope that both theta and kappa will get some strong pledges. We need to end this dominance of one or two sororities.
