Just out of curiosity, how much is gpa a factor in the recruiting process for sororities?

About 0% unless they're on academic probation.

We select our pledge class almost entirely on GPA and extracurricular achievement

Average high school GPA is 3.9/4.0 for Hopkins. Extra curricular achievements should be quite extraordinary to get in, with exceptions made for atheletes and a few well - connected kids, whose parents contribute tons of money to school. Therefore, a GPA factor is a BS - all girls here are more than qualified. As for covered grades, if you compare grades of those who takes BMI or pre-med classes with grades of writing seminar majors than you are as flaky snd fake as they say you are.

Ok phi mu stop acting like you're all that! The majority of the girls rushing are freshman. The freshman report their HIGH SCHOOL gpa. For the most part, everyone here has a good hs gpa or else they wouldn't be here. And if they were doing really bad and were on academic probation, they wouldn't be allowed to rush

This is BS, the GPAs freshmen report aren't shared with sororities during recruitment. The only way they would know is if the PNM told them, which would be weird...GPA is only important in determining whether you are on acpro or not.

having gone through the process of recruiting new members multiple times (and knowing the person in charge of recruitment), GPA does not matter at all. The school won't let you sign up for recruitment if you're on ac pro, other than that we don't care. In fact, pretty sure only the recruitment chair sees the forms that have high school GPAs on them.
