U are so stupid! Kappa is better than Phi Mu. You could try other sororities as well. Now you deserve to watch her getting pampered and stuff. Did you live under the rock last semester? Phi mu is loosing its status anyway.

It's tough but you let your pride rule. You should have try kappa or theta, or even pi phi. You would have friends, mixers, a secrets week and a group to belong to. Now you'll be an odd ball and I doubt that any top sorority will pick you next year. On a positive side, it is not the most important part of your life. If you didn't get Phi Mu its not necessarily your fault. Phi mu made many mistakes in the past by taking random girls. If you are cute, you can have adequate attention regardless ... Guys who care about letters are not worthy of your time. You are a Hopkins' student: smart and destined for success.

And pi phi never even mixes. And most of my friends told me they'd much rather date a GDI than a theta so... The theta girl I spoke to during rush didn't even speak English.

Dude don't worry about it! What sorority you get into does not determine your worth in life and please don't let it bring you down! Remember, success and happiness is the best revenge. Show your roommate that your happy too and it won't be awkward 👌. And also, the obsession with sorority ranking at this school is really juvenille, this isn't middle school so stop caring so much and focus on what really is important in life!!

Share your roommate's excitement! Enjoy her secret week experience with her and it won't be awkward. Be sincerely happy for her. It will make you a bigger person. What's the point of being resentful if you can't change the past?

I also have some doubts about the original post. It's too early to start getting candy from any Pham. No one knows what Pham they'll get until the end of the secret week. Are you sure you are not a phi mu girl who is making this up to make phi mu look somewhat exclusive?

just rush next year. phi mu took a sophomore girl who got theta the year before, they might also give you a second chance.

I couldn't do theta or pi phi because my roommate said she'd never talk to me again if I did. I wish they didn't have such a bad rep.

But it's still awkward. Is there any way I could
stop them from entering our room? It's not that easy to share in someones excitement if you really really wanted what they had and you can't have it.
