dropping

So i got into my last choice today and i tried to keep and open mind during the bid day party afterward but i didnt connect with anyone in my pc or any of the sisters. It was just uncomfortable and awkward and im thinking of dropping just so i dont waste my time. Could it honestly get any better bc im not feeling as optimistic as i was at the beginning of the day

Bid day is sometimes awkward and thats okay, most of the people in the room are complete strangers after all. You have a lot of time to decide to drop before initiation, so give it a few weeks just to be sure.

It can definitely get better! I'm a senior who wasn't happy on bid day three years ago. I decided to stick it out because I thought the sorority had potential and I could bond with my pledge class. I'm really glad I stayed because now I couldn't be happier and I've found my best friends–literal sisters.

I know it may seem bleak right now, but give it at least a couple weeks to see if you can find your place. You won't regret it!!

wait until you have to pay dues. if you haven't found love for your group yet then don't pay! but definitely give it a little more time. Props to you for keeping an open mind- I know many who didn't
