vibes of sororities
by: pnmI’m a freshman probably looking to rush next semester. I haven’t really met any older members of any of the sororities and the ones I have met are a lot closer to other freshman... will this hurt my chances during rush??

short answer is nope.
girls in sororities like to get to know girls ahead of time to see if they're a good fit. So if a freshman knows a lot of girls in a sorority, it could help her bc the sorority girls know her well and are familiar with her. However, it could potentially hurt her if they don't think she's a good fit. As long as you're authentic and friendly with the girls you meet before and during recruitment, you should be fine.

lots of girls go into rush without knowing upperclassmen! That's part of why formal rush exists
