how important is your fall gpa for recruitment?

Pretty straight forward. I’m not doing very well in a class this semester and I’ll have around a 3.1 gpa for the fall semester. How important is the gpa to recruitment?

dont stress it, as long as you're above the minimum GPA requirement, you'll be allowed to go through recruitment, and no sorority will cut you for a GPA, honestly low 3s is pretty typical for a first semester freshman GPA

There are unfortunately sororities with GPA requirements that won't accept you if you are below a certain level and I think anything above a 3.0 should put you in the clear. There are also sororities that you can't rush twice (aka if they drop you for your GPA you couldn't re-rush as a sophomore when you raise it).
