for those who dropped their sorority... why?

If you or someone you know dropped their sorority, why? Do you/they regret it? Did you still have a meaningful experience?

I know a girl that got her last choice sorority and tried to stick it out but had an awful sisterhood experience and decided that it wasn't worth the dues anymore. I honestly think that she just thought she was too good for her sorority but that's what she said.
