What are the real sorority rankings here? Top tier? Mid Tier? Bottom Tier?

As of now:
Phi Mu
A Phi
Kappa/Pi Phi

But Aphi is slowly descending the theta slope and Kappa is becoming more focussed on finding partiers then getting a good cohesive class together. Pi Phi is a half and half right now. So with the reinstataement of theta next year it will probably look like this.

Aphi/Pi Phi
Kappa
Theta

Someone is desperately trying to keep their position as a top sorority by doing what they do so well - saying nasty things about others. There are plenty of nice girls in all the sororities. It only takes a few insecure gossip queens, who are so desperate to get noticed and who, probably, have very few personal traits that deserve admiration, to start all this turmoil.
Some people are repeating this term "rejects" -- sometimes rejection means fear of competition..... As for hatred inside Aphi - its such a bogus statement. The majority of Aphis have very healthy and strong sisterly ties.
If you're a "plain Jane", being in a top sorority not going to change your life. If you are hot - nothing is going to change that!

IX is a separate story....
The other sororities are pretty equal. Kappa and APhi have the highest national ranking....

The general consesnus is that PHI MU 's are the hottest and most active around campus. IX thinks theyre really cool and are only really friends with pretentious guys, but some of the girls are really fun. Phi mu's and aphi's are really diverse and are friends with whoever they want to be and different girls in both sororities hangout at different houses depending on their style. Some phi mu's can be annoying at times and some aphi's can be weird...IX is generally overrated by some of the guys that really care about status, but those same guys still really like phi mus.

That's right: status-oriented guys preffer IX and Phi MU. It tells you how insecure these guys are. There are pretty girls in every sorority and honestly, all this ranking is sooooo stupid since in a year or in a few years from now only individual success stories will matter!

Phi Mu is used to be the hottest but not anymore.... LOL look at their last pledge.... and their reputation as a bunch of spoiled, snobbish girls is not helping their image. Some of the girls are hot and pretty but not pretty enough to pull the entire sorority back to the top position.

Theta was kicked off a couple years ago and that turned into IX, an underground sorority. This year Theta is recolonizing so Theta and IX are completely different now

That is pretty accurate as a group ranking. Individually most IX are not the hottes girls on campus.

Let's remember that theta was the top house before and I doubt the alumnae are going to let that go to waste

1. Phi Mu / IX - no surprise here
2. Alpha Phi - forever in third
3. Theta - they've been recruiting pretty aggressively, odds are they will pick up some diamonds in the rough
4. Pi Phi - Not great, but improving
5. Kappa - will probably loose a lot of recruits to theta

Haha be more open minded and don't make judgements before you actually know who is in each sorority. Alpha Phi is definitely rising above, they're recent pledge class is amazing. All the girls are always friendly and fun to be around. Anyway, every sorority has cool girls in it. And IX is extremely overrated. Being a huge partier won't get you far in life.

Just met some girls in Alpha Phi the other day and they were the prettiest girls I've seen on campus, so I think people are being too quick to say Phi Mu or IX has the best looking girls.

FINALLY SOMEONE SPEAKS UP!! People are too quick to automatically believe a certain sorority is the best just because it seems "more popular". People are too afraid to deviate from what they think is "cool" to see outside the box and realize that the best girls are NOT only in IX or Phi Mu.
Are we really all so emotionally immature that we need our friends and peers to decide what is cool and what isn't for us? We're in college, not middle school. And we go to Johns Hopkins so we obviously have brains, use them.
