make greek life gr8 again

as a senior, recruitment has gone way downhill since i was a freshman. it kind of shocks me how little effort the sororities (and greek life as a whole) have put into recruitment/their reputation this past year. aphi and pi phi are the only ones who’ve even put in effort on social media, everyone else is just resting on their past reputation. there were no events for freshmen last semester so i’m guessing there won’t even be a lot of pnms this rush.
just a plea for everyone rushing to STICK WITH YOUR SORORITY! so many girls go through rush only wanting phi mu and aphi, but that’s just hurting greek life. pnms drop out of recruitment after getting cut from pm/aphi all the time, and they’re just keeping themselves from having a new experience/making their sorority better and meeting new people based on what they’ve read on this site. don’t go into it totally set on one chapter: every chapter has something to offer and the more pnms that stick with the “lower tier” sororitys, the better they’ll be in the future.
go through recruitment! nobody cares about tiers after freshman year, it’s cliche but very true. don’t shoot for one sorority just because you think you should want it

almost everyone (if not everyone) had events for pnms in the fall. Every sorority has put effort into social media except for pi phi (their tumblr hasn't been updated since last years initiation), alpha phi especially, but phi mu and theta too (kappa not as much, but still more than pi phi). Whoever posted this clearly either isn't looking for updates or doesn't even go here.

There were less events last fall becuse FSL office is trying to o more "meet the greeks" events rather than individual sororities doing meet the sisters events. They also held a recruitment info session in the fall that no one came to (lol). So half of the problem is FLS office doing a crappy job at advertising/doing their job
the dropping thing is real though too-it cuts the PNM class in half
pi phi and theta are the only ones who did a video? Maybe thats what OP is talking about? Most sororitys have been active on instagram

Pi phi has done a video, it's short but cute- similar to theta 's. Haven't seen APhi's though

Alpha phi and Theta were the only ones that did videos. If pi phi did one, I don't think it's public or I just haven't seen it. Theta and Alpha phi have really cool videos though. They really are getting me excited to rush
