The thing about Hopkins sororities is that there are only 5, so they are all pretty large. Meaning there are a lot of distinct "groups" and "personalities" within each sorority. This is unlike larger state schools where each sorority is distinct ie: tri delt is athletes, tri sig is all southern preppy girls, SDT is all stoners, etc (these are just random examples). There are some sororities that have a larger national presence (theta, kappa, and pi phi are all huge nationally) which means they have more alumnae and more networking after college but other sororities are larger because of the number of chapters they have around the country. Just be yourself and get to know girls during recruitment-each sorority also has its own national website where you can learn more about their philanthropy and history. Thats the best way to get an honest and positive opinion-make your own!
