Kappa Kappa Gamma - ΚΚΓ Sorority Ratings at JHU

Do Kappas not know they are the least relevant sorority at Hopkins? Like really, they’re not top tier/ hot by any means and it’s not like they have other things going for them like sisterhood or involvement. I would argue that they are the least relevant group on campus, but somehow kappas are always coming out of the woodwork on this site talking about how they are comparable to aphi/phi mu? If you’re campus presence is exclusive to this site and girls crying in the bathroom on bid day in front of every other srat, you should go back and reevaluate.

Dropping kkg was one of the best things I did at hopkins. The sisterhood sucks because everyone is so cliquey and acts like they're better than everyone else and the mixers suck. You don't do anything and you don't bond with the rest of your sisters. The drop rate is pretty high to so I dont feel bad. Sorry but it was a waste of my time.

Desperate wannabes who are mean and trashy. They definitely aren’t the typical “ hot sorority girl” look which is fine, but they so desperately wish they were in that mold. Insecure girls with anger problems that can’t hold their liquor.

Kappa girls will argue that they’re next to phi mu in rankings when in reality, I think the entire school perceives them as being a bottom tier sorority If not THE bottom sorority. I feel like this might have been a chill sorority back in the day but as long as I’ve been at Hopkins, it’s members reek of desperation and insecurity and they’re petty and mean because of it. Girls that can’t get over being bottom tier to the point of delusion and cattiness.

The truth about Kappa is the whole sorority tries too hard to be top and end up having one cliquey group of average girls, and whoevers not in it ends up getting excluded and its honestly kind of hurtful b/c your sisters won't even invite you to stuff...

kappa girls are annoying and aggressive in every setting I’ve met them in. Sloppy and rude, too. They give off a very desperate vibe to pretty much everyone.

These girls are sloppy and rude. Maybe if they actually had some involvement I would feel differently but so far, the only impression they lend themselves to others is being violent while drunk / being a general mess.

there are a couple girls in the past years PC that are super messy. Can’t stand at parties, get aggressive and generally not a good time. Everybody knows who they are, kappa should really have a better filter during recruitment. Obviously not all their girls are like this but it’s just something we don’t want in our houses

Chipotle Fundraisers aren’t philanthropy events. Kappa needs to step it up considering every other sorority pulls off actual events.

We present a generally agreed upon tier list (from a WW, PKP, FJ perspective). Of course a Tiered list is meaningless and arbitrary, but it exists nonetheless: | IX | APhi, Phi Mu | Kappa | Pi Phi, Theta|. Moving on to Kappa specifically, we view Kappa as good-looking, talented, and diverse people that can also party hard. They show out at mixers (most of the time) and are the type of people you can party with but also have a great conversation. They also produce great leaders and have a pretty strong sense of community. Would describe social standing as lower mid-tier.
