Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 2.2 everyone I know in aphi has either dropped after a year due to a lack of sisterhood and too much drama or are very superficial and rude individuals that judge others based off of looks. recruitment this year very much turned me away from aphi. their graduating class only has 10 girls. that shows how much this chapter cares about sisterhood and bonding. some girls in aphi have also crashed other fraternity’s mixers which I find extremely inappropriate and rude. especially after event chairs go through the effort to mix with another sorority.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 2.4 After hearing what a lot of upperclassmen I know have said, I thought it was funny the Instagram post today of their classes throughout the years. The 2019 class had a a good number of girls! 2018...fewer...2017...f ewer than that. A lot of girls talk about the allure of aphi disappearing after their freshman spring and dropping once they hit sophomore year and it’s a little more obvious when they posted that set of class pictures on Instagram. Since a lot of people know this is the trend within aphi with their poor turnout of older classes at events (mixers/philanthropy/Pa nhel events), I don’t understand why they would post this photo on Instagram. Granted, this is a trend commonly seen in all the sororities, everyone gets less involved as they get deeper into their education, but this poorly? 10 girls? Each sorority gets a little under 40 bids per year, and you were only able to keep 20 of them in your sorority at the most? (being generous here) I just don’t understand why they would showcase that. Did they really only have 10 seniors at recruitment? And only 15 juniors? + 7-12 (seniors/juniors) that we’re behind the scenes of recruitment as exec or recruitment guides or excused from recruitment I’m assuming. Pretty lame if you ask me, hard to make friends when they all drop the sorority after a year.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 3.2 As u can already tell there are three tiers in aphi: girls on exec who get to make decisions, girls who get to recruit, and jv aphis who don’t fit the aphi “look” and clap in the background or get told not to even come in. If you want a sisterhood you best not be on “jv” but if u want a good party scene look no further.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 5.0 Theses girls are tops. Most are great looking. The only people down rating them are jealous girls who did not get in. They are selective. A little stand-offish but not snobby. There is only so much room.
