Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 2.8 I get the feeling every time I'm there that they are trying to prove that they are something other than they are. It seems like they have some huge inferiority complex about not being a "top" frat. If they just settled down and stopped acting like they have this chip on their shoulder with something to prove, they might actually be nice.

Beta Theta Pi - ΒΘΠ Fraternity at Johns Hopkins University - JHU 4.4 This is coming from a freshman so I don't know how beta was like last year. My girlfriends and I always have fun at beta and the brothers are usually very gentleman-like and welcoming. You can tell that the brothers genuinely like each other and i personally have never been "creeped on" by them. They COULD be more involved on campus and i wish their house was bigger, but that's not really something they can control. I am delighted that many of my guy friends are rushing beta.
