Everything can be argued! IX have girls of various "calibers", just like other sororities. Some of their girls are "9"...Read More

Despite the fact that Phi Mu is known for having some internal issues at times, they are truly really great girls. They are fun, social, and smart, and contribute a lot to this campus. They are very involved in philanthropy and in the social scene and are a model sorority in my eyes.

Unfortunately, some girls like to gossip no matter what sorority or group they're in. Some boys like to gossip too and with them it's even worse. As for looking like zombies.. haha there are plenty of people who look like zombies from time to time. Some of us study hard and party hard, it's college!

Don't know how to feel about Kappa. They can be nice individually. But together they are all just worried about their "Image". Often I find it hard to find substance and feel that they are being what they think others will like, not being who they really are. I don't think fake is the right word, but if all you care about is what you look like...maybe yeah.

A sorority should be classified as "top" based on merit, outreach, and the quality of experience in the sisterhood. I keep seeing Pi Phi used in manners on other pages as a way for other sorority members to feel better about themselves. The deal is - all of the Pi Phi sisters I know support one another, avoid drama when at all possible, and care about their ability to positively affect others. Other sororities rank high on Popularity and Hotness. Pi phi ranks high on sisterhood etc. Simple.

While phi mu might have the drama that some of the other party hardy sororities have, to me they don't seem to be trying to BE someone else. These girls just really do like to party - they came in that way and they leave that way. However, pi mu is much more diverse than I thought it was. I've met some astonishingly sweet and smart girls in classes that don't reflect any stereotype. Which is super refreshing. I'd rather hang out with Phi Mu or Pi Phi - a phi and kappa lose it for me.

Someone really enjoys using the word "reject". It is called DELUSIOIN OF GRANDEUR. Most freshmen girls have no clue about IX. A lot of girls don't care about questionable fun and partying that IX "sisters" are famous for. As for Phi Mu, they are top sorority no one is trying to put them down but they are not a perfect fit for every girl. All this "rejects" labeling brings to mind a song from our childhood "Everybody wants to be a cat...." How true is that?
